Begin by consulting with your ophthalmologist or optometrist. They will assess your eye condition and determine if Vital Tears is the right treatment option for you. If so, they will write a personalized prescription and place the order for Vital Tears.
A Vital Tears Patient Services representative will call you to to schedule your blood draw at one of our contracted blood collection facilities. You can also choose to have your blood drawn at home!
Once your blood is collected, it will be shipped to our laboratory where trained technicians will process your serum tears using validated safety procedures. Our priority is getting your serum tears to you in as little as 48 hours from your blood draw.
Your Vital Tears will be shipped directly to your home or office. A Patient Services representative will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time and location.
